I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel in Maui and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. the location is perfect. It is situated in a relatively remote part of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it ideal for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Additionally, the hotel is right on the beach, providing breathtaking views and easy access to the sandy shores.
All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

It was a great stay, friendly stuff. We enjoyed to have evening drinks at molokini bar & grille, based nearby. It was near Maluaka Beach.

What an amazing romantic escape! The stunning view from the room was breathtaking and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Best aspects were the private beach and the beautiful pool area with plenty of loungers. The location was perfect for a quiet getaway, away from the busy crowds. We loved the fact that we could easily rent a car and explore the island. the spa services were excellent and just what we needed to relax.
The restaurant options were limited and we found ourselves having to leave the resort to find something more appealing. , the room was not as clean as we would have expected for the price we paid, and we encountered some issues with the air conditioning.

Amazing hotel! the location is perfect with a beautiful beach and stunning views. the room was recently renovated and very comfortable. the breakfast buffet was outstanding with a lot of different options. the staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service.
The pool is a bit small, but it was not a big deal since we were able to enjoy the beach. the hotel is a bit isolated from other attractions, but it was perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the area.

Simply awesome. Great rooms, helpful staff (we arrived late in the night, hungry, and all the restaurants were closed. But the manager was so great to open one of the cafes just for us to get some food. Impressive!), wonderful amenities. We would definitely return.
A little expensive, but still worth it.

Staff was really friendly, walked in as a guest and walked out as a friend.
Paying for internet, expected it to be included in the rate I was paying for my room.

We had the most incredible snorkeling experience at this resort. The vibrant coral and abundance of beautiful fish were unlike anything we've ever seen before. Plus, we were lucky enough to swim alongside huge turtles! The beach at this hotel is undoubtedly one of the best on the entire island. It was clean, secluded, and provided a perfect spot for relaxation. The staff here truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From the friendly front desk personnel to the amazing room service, we felt truly delighted throughout our stay. Additionally, the breakfast options were delightful, with a great variety of fresh fruit and a superb Sunday brunch.
None.

The beautiful and secluded beach and location.
I was a little put off by the outdated decor.

Location of the hotel is great: it is set aside of other hotels in the area and makes an impression of a secluded place. Very good restaurant (Molokini): it can actually really be considered a gourmet restaurant, absolutely great. Very friendly staff. Good beach which is effectively isolated for the use by the hotel guests, because remote and not surrounded by other hotels, which is quite a luxury on Hawaii. We also liked the stand-up paddling courses offered by the hotel.
1) The concierge made an impression of being reluctant to book a dive trip with a provider that was not on their "preferred list" which I found a little bit inappropriate. 2) Beach equipment for rent (snorkel gear, umbrellas, etc.) is expensive, especially the hourly rates. I found it strange that beach umbrellas had to be rented, but this seems to be a custom on Hawaii.

Location Location Location! Makena is truly a stay in paradise. Hotel was equipped with everything one expects from an excellent resort and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. Whilst probably a little pricey for the average holiday maker, we felt that we really received what we paid for. Setting is really romantic with gorgeous, well maintained gardens and time moves at a leisurely pace giving a sense of being away from the world. Fabulous!

The atmosphere, it is a rather big hotel but somehow it doesn't feel big. The location, close to a beautiful beach. The room had nice utilities, for example glasses instead of paper cups.
I never like it, in general, that I have to pay for internet access in the room.

Location is good. Receptionist was very nice. Views was good.
Query for breakfast was too long but with a lot empty tables, mabye cleaning and rearranging table can be done much more quickly.
